Richards Design was formed in 1996 by a dedicated, skilled group of people that previously worked for a World Wide load cell Company. We were manufacturing 90% of their load cells and hardware. We developed tooling for production and assembly as well as a continuing effort to lower costs for their products. Due to their manufacturing being moved to Sri Lanka, Richards Design, Inc. was born.

Our company specializes in CNC Milling and Turning in prototype lots as well as production. Machining the difficult materials such as 17-4 ph stainless steel which is most common in the weighing industry is one of our specialties.

We are located in East Falmouth, MA in the Falmouth Technology Park. We have manufactured equipment for many of the scientific institutions located in this region. Richards Design takes tremendous pride in their work, and is known for doing high quality work delivered on time.
